An Army brat raised by a resilient mother, Amber was an only child who cherished sequential watching of B-movies and gluing tear-outs of Vogue to doodled notebook paper. Teen years produced limited collections with very distinct concepts for school runway shows. Her only year at O'More College of Design forced the awakening that the field of fashion design is tough to thrive in. Consequently, she chose the very dependable world of film production to focus her degree. Following graduation from MTSU and countless production assistant gigs, she realized she could have her Vogue and watch it, too.
Amber believes attire is the ultimate form of nostalgia. Uncovering the intimacy of personal style within a character is a technique she cherishes. Social events have taught her that conveniently, being overdressed and having a bad time cannot coexist.
In her 9+ years wardrobe styling and costume designing for tv/film/video production, Amber has also acquired many private clients.
Residing in West Nashville, Tennessee with her beloved husband, Potsy; two charming daughters; a pair of overconfident cats; and the two most faithful dogs, her life is certainly a notable B-movie.
